Established in 2004 as an initiative of the City of Maple Grove, the Maple Grove Farmers Market is a much loved year-round tradition in the northwest metro area.

The Maple Grove Farmers Market maintains a commitment to local agriculture, supports small growers and producers, and provides an inviting venue for shoppers outside and inside.

The farmers market has three pillars: It's good for farmers, good for your diet, and good for your spirits! This is true even when we can't linger over a conversation or enjoy live music at market. We can't wait to look you in the eye and share a six-foot smile! This won't last forever and we're all in it together.

The Farmers Market will be open inside at The Shoppes at Arbor Lakes on select SUNDAYS in late winter-early spring 2021. Find us from 11:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on February 14, March 21, and April 18. Find us outdoors every Thursday afternoon from May 13 until October 21, 2021. Outdoor markets are located at the Maple Grove Community Center, 12951 Weaver Lake Road.

To shorten your visit to the market and promote contactless transactions, many vendors are offering presales. Pre-ordering and pre-paying is a great way to ensure that you get your goodies without the need to stand in line or handle currency at market. Pre-orders are between customer and vendor only. Check back each week as the season unfolds.

Per state guidelines, 130 people may be inside the market at one time. At busy times, shoppers may be asked to wait in line to enter the market. Please consider delaying your visit until slightly later in the market day to help us avoid congestion and queuing.

Handwashing stations and hand sanitizer are available for shoppers. Shoppers are encouraged to wash their hands upon entry and exit from the market (and as often as you like in between.)

We are taking the following steps to keep our customers, vendors and staff safe and healthy: Per Executive Order 20-81, masks are required at the indoor farmers markets. All customers, staff and vendors should stay home if they feel sick or if a member of their family or production staff are not feeling well.

For now, the market will be a shopping destination, not a social gathering. Customers are invited to choose a designated shopper from their household and make a shopping list in advance. Please consider leaving children at home until restrictions ease.

The indoor farmers market is open from 3 to 6 p.m. inside the Maple Grove Community Center on April 10 & April 24. Our outdoor market will take place every Thursday, starting on May 8 from 3 to 7 p.m. at the parking lot of the Church of the Open Door (9060 Zanzibar Ln N).

This program was designed to initiate a healthier next generation of kids, and teach them the benefits of eating healthy. Through this program, children can exercise their own buying power and try new fruits and veggies every week.
