A soft DK is just right for knits near your face, where your skin can be the most sensitive. Rowan Alpaca Soft DK is my go-to yarn, or you can cast on with The Fibre Company Road to China Light for extra luxury and a slightly lighter fabric. You’ll need two skeins of either to make the small size and the pattern is available through Ravelry.

Even though it’s at the end of the day, Open Knit Night always gives me a boost!

We had a great crowd last night with some friendly new faces - thanks for the cupcakes, David! - and we had to bring out our last folding table to make room for everyone ????
