A Legacy of Quality and Service Founded in 1923 by Aram Thomas Proudian in New Rochelle, NY, A.T. Proudian began with a focus on selling, repairing, and restoring Oriental rugs. In the late 1930s, the company expanded to include broadloom carpets for residential and commercial customers. Expanding Horizons In 1975, Armen Proudian, Aram’s son, opened a second location in Greenwich, CT. He aimed to serve discerning homeowners and design professionals, building on the company’s reputation for quality and craftsmanship. His focus on fostering strong relationships with vendors, employees, and customers became the cornerstone of the company’s philosophy. For Armen, success was defined by relationships - with his customers, employees and vendors. His passion for creating a positive experience for his customers cemented A.T. Proudian’s reputation for excellence.
