Since we opened our doors in 1997, AniMed Animal Hospital has been proudly serving the Blue Springs community by providing top quality pet care. Our approach is simple: we treat each and every pet as if they were our own.

We understand that cats can experience a lot of stress when brought into an unfamiliar environment. At AniMed Animal Hospital, we’ve tackled this issue head on because we hope that all pets can get the care they deserve. That is why we’ve taken the extra steps to make your kitty’s visit as comfortable and stress free as possible.

Our waiting area is clean, bright and spacious. Our reception staff does a great job making sure that all of our appointments are on schedule. If there is a short wait, there is plenty of space for all of our canine and feline patients to keep some distance from each other to minimize stress.

This puppy is getting ready for his comprehensive physical exam! We check pets nose-to-tail, and it’s all to fulfill our promise of making sure your pet is as healthy as possible.

Look at this happy little guy! Although we love getting to meet all of our adorable patients, it’s the ability to help connect animals with the care they deserve that commits us so firmly to our jobs.

Dr. Vuagniaux is treating this patient’s hot spot. In veterinary medicine, a hot spot is a skin lesion that gets worse as a pet is constantly biting, scratching, chewing, and licking it.

This happy dog is ready for his wellness exam. Our clinical team recommends at least one preventative wellness visit per year so that we can make sure your pet’s health is in top shape.

One of our highly trained team members is analyzing a sample in our practice’s fully equipped in-house diagnostic laboratory. These tools give us a direct view into your pet’s health, and having an in-house lab allows us to get results back to you quickly and efficiently.

Whether your pet is a baby or a senior, we will always do what we can to make sure your pet is as healthy and strong as possible.

AniMed Animal Hospital has served the dogs, cats, rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs, hamsters, rats, mice, and pocket pets of Blue Springs, MO and the surrounding areas since 1997. We operate as a full-service veterinary facility, and our doctors are highly trained in an array of services including wellness exams, vaccinations, microchipping, health and travel certifications, allergy and dermatology testing, acupuncture, laser therapy, rehab therapy modalities, x-ray, ultrasound, in-house laboratory, pet dental, surgery including spay and neuter, foreign body removal, ACL reconstruction, laser surgery, pain management, and more! We are open six days a week and we can't wait to meet you and your pet!
