William H Painter Funeral Directors was established in 1907 when William H Painter, the owner of a horse-drawn taxi business, was helping a friend who asked to be taken to the nearest undertaker. We now serve communities across Birmingham and Solihull from our funeral homes in Yardley, Castle Bromwich, Chelmsley Wood, Kings Heath, Solihull and Sutton Coldfield.

Our Yardley funeral home has its own Service Venue.

We have a large selection of memorial masonry for you to choose from. We are also able to arrange additional works such as inscriptions and renovations on existing memorials, as part of our service, we will assist you with the completion and submission of the appropriate documentation.
